Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress most well-known for her role as Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned lots of attention. Calvano grew up in California she was initially fascinated by in competitive gymnastics. However, she later decided to pursue a career in acting. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 in an episode of the CBS series "NCIS,". A year later, her first big-screen appearance came in the biographical drama movie J Edgar. Through the years, she's proven herself as among the most exciting actors of the current industry. In recognition of her role in the show 'NCIS', she was awarded a Young Artist Award for Best performance in a television Series Guest-starring Young Actress 11-15 in 2011. In 2013, her performance as a special guest in Disney XD's comedy 'Kickin' It' was nominated again for the Young Artist Award. Calvano played a major role in "Mom", the series in its first three seasons, as well as making numerous appearances during Season 4. Her performance in 'Mom" earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award as Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star.
